IT Home reported on July 31 that HMD demonstrated a flip phone called "Barbie" at MWC 2024 earlier this year and now announced that this model will be released overseas on August 28.

Prior to this, HMD has launched a number of HMD smartphones in India, including HMD Crest and Crest Max, but 91mobiles believes that this Barbie flip phone is a feature phone.

From the official poster, we can see that this model has a bright pink border and the brand logo printed on the front. It looks a bit like the Nokia 2660 Flip phone.

The Nokia 2660 Flip phone is equipped with the Unisoc T107 chip, 48MB of memory, 128MB of storage (expandable to 32GB), a 2.8-inch QVGA main screen + a 1.77-inch QQVGA secondary screen, a 300,000-pixel camera (with LED flash) and a 1450mAh removable battery. It is priced at 4299 rupees (IT Home Note: currently about 372 yuan).

It is worth mentioning that the retailer multitronic has already put this model on the shelves. The model number of this phone is TA-1681, which supports dual SIM dual standby. The price is 107.9 euros (currently about 846 yuan), and it is expected to be shipped after September 8.
