Summer, a military airport on the Bohai Bay.

"Time for takeoff!" Following the commander's order, several fighter jets from a regiment of the Naval Aviation University took off and engaged in day-and-night training in multiple subjects such as air combat and aerial refueling.

Fighter planes took off and landed one after another.

After the fighters entered the training airspace, a red-blue air combat training began. The red fighters immediately seized the advantageous position and locked the opponent. Facing the fierce attack of the red side, the blue pilots quickly manipulated the fighters to evade at a large angle. Between the sea and the sky, the fighters of both sides sometimes turned at high speed, and sometimes pulled up rapidly, and the offensive and defensive situation changed several times...

Nighttime aerial refueling operations.

As night fell, the runway lights lit up. With a loud roar, another batch of fighters pierced the night sky to conduct nighttime "buddy refueling" training. In the vast night sky, the tanker stabilized its flight altitude and speed, released the refueling hose and drogue; the receiving aircraft released the refueling probe, repeatedly corrected its attitude, and kept approaching the tanker. After close coordination, the two aircraft successfully completed the docking and immediately began the aerial refueling operation.

The pilot signaled to the maintenance crew to prepare to taxi out.

At midnight, the pilots completed the simulated landing on the ground under the guidance of the landing commander. After the fighter planes returned one after another, the pilots immediately reviewed and summarized the training contents such as technical and tactical actions, situational awareness and coordination.

The regiment insists on training based on combat, and integrates tactical background into training of subjects such as air combat and aerial refueling, so that carrier-based aircraft pilots can practice their skills and sharpen their courage. (Jiang Tao, Yang Xingming, Ma Wanghao)
