IT Home reported on July 30 that AMD released the Ryzen chipset driver 6.07.22.037 WHQL yesterday.Added support for Ryzen AI 300 series processors, and optimized NPU support for Ryzen 7000 "Phoenix", Ryzen 8000 "Hawk Point", Ryzen 8000G desktop APU and Ryzen AI 300 "Strix Point" processors.

After installing this driver on Windows 10 and Windows 11 devices, information about the NPU can be displayed in the Task Manager. Users can view information such as NPU real-time utilization, memory usage, and driver version.
This driver also updates various components such as GPIO, PSP, PPM, USB4 host controller, and adds program support for various interfaces such as SMBus, Hetero and RCEC.
