Honda is further accelerating its electrification transformation in China. The new Dongfeng Honda dedicated electric factory under construction will be put into production in September 2024, and the new GAC Honda new energy factory will be put into production in November 2024.

It is reported that Honda has a total of 7 gasoline vehicle factories in the Chinese market with an annual production capacity of about 1.49 million vehicles. After this capacity adjustment, Honda will reduce its production capacity in China by 290,000 vehicles.
