The screenshots of the chat between Yang Moumou and the female student showed that Yang Moumou said, "Do you love me? Do you regret suffering for me? Do you fulfill your responsibilities as a wife? Are you loyal to me?"

In addition, Yang's collection of poems, "Signal Flags on the Boiler Room," contains some obscene content. The author's profile shows that Yang was born in December 1971 and is currently a teacher at the School of Transportation and Logistics of Taiyuan University of Science and Technology. He is mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research in logistics technology and equipment, complex system modeling and simulation, and logistics system modeling and simulation.

On July 25, Yang's wife told China News Weekly that Yang was a lecturer at the school. He usually lived in Wuhan, Hubei with his two children, while Yang lived in Taiyuan, Shanxi. When they were together during the winter and summer vacations, she and her children were always beaten and insulted, and they lived in fear for a long time. She had previously applied to the court for a personal protection order, and the divorce dispute case is currently in progress.

The civil ruling made by the Wuhan Municipal People's Court of Hubei Province in August 2023 shows that: Based on the evidence submitted by the applicant (Yang's wife) and the investigation of the court, this court can prove that the applicant and his young son have suffered domestic violence and are facing the real danger of domestic violence and are in an unstable state. The ruling prohibits Yang from committing domestic violence against the applicant, stalking and contacting the applicant, and prohibiting him from entering the applicant's residence, school, workplace, etc.

Yang's wife said, "I heard from students that the school suspended Yang's classes and only asked him to take charge of his graduation project. We rarely contacted each other and I don't know the details." The reporter searched the college's official website and did not find Yang's personal profile. However, an award announcement issued by the college in December 2020 stated that "Yang won the title of 'Excellent Instructor'."

On the morning of July 26, the reporter called several departments of the school but received no effective response. The relevant staff of the Shanxi Provincial Department of Education responded to China News Weekly that the Department of Education and Taiyuan University of Science and Technology have paid attention to this matter and are verifying the situation. "At present, Taiyuan University of Science and Technology has not reported the verification results."

The publishing unit of the above-mentioned poetry collection responded to China Newsweek that regarding the content of the book, the publishing house is arranging someone to review the content, "because this book was published more than ten years ago, and we are retrieving this book from the library to verify whether there is any inappropriate content."
