Since the official launch of "CS2" last year, S1mple, the GOAT player of the "CSGO" era, has gradually faded out of the professional arena and launched an e-sports education project called "Play Like S1mple" with ESL FACEIT, selling courses and other content to help players improve their gaming skills.

According to Dexerto, by purchasing the course, players can watch more than 70 online teaching videos, participate in monthly tournaments, get access to private Discord channels, have "personal communication" with s1mple, and access a year of private live broadcasts. S1mple once said on social media: "In addition to the educational part of the course, I also want to establish a real connection with my fans, which means you can look forward to different online and offline events for members."

However, nearly two months after its launch, the project and the course were shut down. Some buyers said they had received refunds without prior notice, and some free course videos had been changed to private videos. Some users also claimed that they had never received an invitation to s1mple's private Discord channel. In addition, the course itself has also been criticized by players, most of whom believe that the course is not worth the maximum price of $149, and that many so-called teaching contents are available on platforms such as YouTube, and the content is too simple.

It is understood that in May this year, nearly 80,000 users registered for "Play Like S1mple" and watched its free courses. As of press time, s1mple has not made any comments on the closure of his courses.
