Tianfeng International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently said that the iPhone 17 series will remove the Plus model and replace it with an ultra-thin model.

It is understood that the existing iPhone matrix has a total of 4 models, including: standard version, Plus version, Pro version, and Pro Max version. The cancelled Plus version is replaced by the Slim model.

According to the leak, the Slim version will feature extreme lightness and thinness: a single wide-angle lens, a screen size of about 6.6 inches, a resolution of 2740*1260, an A19 processor, a Smart Island, and a titanium-aluminum alloy middle frame, but the proportion of titanium metal is slightly lower than that of the Pro and Pro Max models.

It is worth noting that the news also shows that the phone may be equipped with Apple’s own 5G chip.

Guo Mingchi also pointed out that the iPhone 17 Slim is not a simple rebranded version of the Plus, but a super-thin iPhone that challenges innovative industrial design. Apple is exploring a new iPhone route. As for the A19 chip mentioned, it is expected to use TSMC's 3nm process.
If you want to have a brand new experience on your iPhone, you can look forward to this version.
