The latest update "Free Upgrade" recently announced by "Battle Royale 2" will be released in August. In addition to a large amount of new content, there is also a solution to the problem of players being deliberately kicked out by the room owner during random matching.

Katherine Baskin, head of social media and community at developer Arrowhead, said in a post on the PlayStation blog that the development team is aware that "some players are using the squad kick feature to harm other players." To address the issue, the developer will introduce a new feature.

Once this feature is added to the game with the August 6 update, if a player is kicked out midway, the game will generate a new game session for them, and they will be the host and receive "all team loot" from the previous session they were kicked out of, including the most important samples.

Baskin added: "Now, players can pick up all items before entering the car. The team performing the kick will see a message in the chat bar indicating that the player has been kicked, but their loot remains intact."

"With these changes, all players will be able to walk away with all the loot they collected during a mission, without any bonuses for the Jedi Diver."

After the game was launched this year, the problem of being kicked out by the host when matching with random teammates has always existed. At first, players thought that kicking people and deliberately killing teammates was because some players mistakenly believed that the collected materials would not be shared, but later they found that many people did it on purpose. At the end of May, the game community leader had already stated that they were working on the "solution" specified by the players, and now the fix has been launched.
