At the press conference, Sun Chenghai, deputy director of the China International Import Expo Bureau, introduced that the preparations for the seventh CIIE are progressing smoothly and have achieved phased results.

Countries actively participated in the National Comprehensive Exhibition.So far, more than 50 countries and international organizations have confirmed their participation in the exhibition.Among them, countries and international organizations such as Norway, Benin, Burundi and UNICEF will participate in the exhibition for the first time. This national exhibition will combine the bilateral diplomatic years, cultural tourism years, and people-to-people exchanges years, and will take the results of bilateral cooperation as important exhibition content. Relevant countries and international organizations have already started organizing the exhibition.

The preparations for the business exhibition are progressing smoothly. This year's business exhibition will continue the six exhibition areas of food and agricultural products, automobiles, technical equipment, consumer goods, medical equipment and medical care, and service trade, and will focus on creating an innovation incubation area.Up to now, the contracted exhibition area has exceeded 360,000 square meters.The organization of trade delegations and professional visitors has been accelerated, and the progress is faster than the same period last year. It is expected that more professional visitors will participate in the 7th CIIE.

The Hongqiao Forum continues to highlight the theme of openness.The 7th Hongqiao Forum will continue to hold high the banner of openness, with the theme of "Adhere to high-level openness and jointly promote inclusive economic globalization". It will hold the main forum, relevant sub-forums, special promotion sessions for free trade pilot zones and other activities to polish the "Invest in China" brand.

Other preparatory work is proceeding as planned.Applications for professional supporting activities have been accepted since June 19, and the deadline is August 31. The cultural exchange activities continue to optimize the display theme, and invitations have been sent to relevant domestic and foreign institutions. Cultural performances will be held around major multilateral and bilateral themes to fully demonstrate the results of friendly exchanges between China and foreign countries. In terms of on-site service support, innovative measures will be introduced in the planning and design of conference logos, the improvement of service information convenience, and the consolidation of the results of the "Zero Carbon CIIE".

Liu Ping, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Municipal Government and Director of the Office of the Leading Group for Urban Service Guarantee of the CIIE, said that the overall plan and general task book for urban service guarantee of the 7th CIIE detailed and decomposed 270 tasks in 21 aspects, innovated and optimized measures, and improved service quality. It mainly includes four aspects:

First, we will work hard to facilitate exhibitions.In terms of entry and exit, we will promote the implementation of convenient measures such as "providing foreign exhibitors with multiple-entry valid visas". The customs has issued the customs clearance instructions and convenient measures for the 7th CIIE, further simplifying the special approval procedures and the relevant certificate requirements for some products participating in the exhibition. In terms of certificate handling, we will further optimize the certificate handling process, shorten the certificate processing time, and gradually expand the trial scope of electronic certificates. In terms of transportation, we will further optimize the traffic diversion plan during the exhibition, and improve the security measures such as rail transportation, ground buses, taxis, team buses, and reserved parking. In terms of exhibitor services, we will promptly release the accommodation information of the 7th CIIE, further optimize the "fixed point + mobile dining car + convenience store in the pavilion" catering mode, and strengthen the configuration of on-site medical stations and designated hospitals in the city. In addition, we will focus on application scenarios such as "food, accommodation, transportation, travel, shopping, entertainment, and medical care" to further enhance the payment service experience of overseas exhibitors.

The second is to work hard to improve the service quality.In terms of legal services, we will further strengthen the strength of the CIIE legal service volunteer team, optimize the CIIE foreign-related legal service center, intellectual property comprehensive service center and mediation center. In terms of market supervision, we will further optimize the guidance services for exhibitors and visitors and the maintenance of exhibition order, and provide exhibitors and visitors with professional and convenient consulting services such as business registration and consumer rights protection. In terms of volunteer services, while strengthening the job training and site training of "Little Leaf" volunteers, we will increase the team of professional volunteers to provide professional explanations, multilingual translation and other services. In terms of environmental improvement, we will transform and upgrade the greening of the South Plaza of the National Exhibition and Convention Center, and create a new energy high-standard cleaning demonstration area in the core area of ​​the CIIE.

The third is to work hard to ensure intelligence.For exhibitors and visitors, with the help of AI and digital technology, the digital service window is upgraded to further optimize service functions such as finding exhibitors, viewing exhibition halls, and checking activities, providing exhibitors and visitors with more intelligent and humane services. At the same time, smart conference service points are added in the exhibition hall to optimize the AI ​​smart response function at the exhibition site to enhance the exhibitors' experience. For service and support departments, on the basis of strengthening intelligent applications such as security transportation, customs clearance of exhibits, energy and communication support, meteorological monitoring and forecasting, and safety supervision of food, drugs and special equipment, the "One Picture for the Import Expo" function is further optimized to promote data integration and application among departments, and help efficient decision-making and command and dispatch.

Fourth, we will work hard to make the exhibition green.Focus on the six aspects of "booth construction, logistics and transportation, operation management, green catering, green electricity, and carbon neutrality" to promote the green development of the entire chain of the CIIE in an all-round way. Implement green booth standards, implement green logistics solutions, and promote the "greening" of catering food production and service processes. Further optimize the energy management system of the National Exhibition and Convention Center, continue to adopt green electricity exhibition and other guarantee models, and create a green and low-carbon venue. Deepen the carbon neutrality mechanism of the CIIE and truly create a green benchmark for the exhibition industry.
