Why was "Sweet Home" criticized after its third season aired?

Let me tell you the answer.

Because the so-called third season was actually filmed together with the second season.

In fact, a total of 16 episodes were filmed, and then divided into two seasons and sold separately.

This model is learned from "Dark Glory", but the results are very different from others.

"Dark Glory" is supported by its quality, while "Sweet Home" has been bad from the second season to the third season, and is supported by its consistent badness.

1

What is the main storyline?

To be honest, I was a little excited when the third season came out.

Because so much time has passed since the second season, I have forgotten that it was terrible, I just remember that the first season was pretty good.

Perhaps this is one of the advantages of Netflix splitting the series into two seasons.

But after watching it, I can only say that it is indeed integrated with the second season.

I tried to give you a main plot, but failed.

Because, it really has no main plot.

The main plot of the first season is to protect the apartment.

I don’t know what the main plot of the second season will be, but a lot of new characters have been introduced.

Now I don’t know what the main plot of the third season will be.

If everyone is trying to survive together, then they should strive to survive. However, this season it seems that no one is trying hard to survive, because this problem in the second season is no longer a problem in the third season, which is strange.

So what's going on in the third season?

It is to make various characters offline.

The new squad leader who appeared in the second season is offline.

To be honest, Kim Shin Rok really took his acting very seriously, but maybe the actor himself felt embarrassed about his role.

She is a mother who loves her child and knows that her child has mutated, so she deceives some people with symptoms to feed her child the food.

So, on the one hand, she protects this place for everyone with a kind heart, and on the other hand, she sacrifices other people's lives for her son.

This character is really contradictory.

If the director could give her more roles, she could be well explored.

But each character is only given a small amount of screen time.

So, she was discovered in a hurry, and then hurriedly went to be food for her mutant son herself.

The character depth was hastily broken by the director.

Compared to the first season, where every bad guy has something worth discussing, the third season is almost like a Korean drama that has nothing to do with the first season. You can't imagine how a director who can so easily capture the depth of human nature would suddenly become a fan of cursory viewing and recording daily accounts.

2

Who is the protagonist?

The protagonists of the first season are a group of people living in a sweet home. Many of them died, and only a few were left.

A lot of new characters were added in the second season, and the plot was all mixed up. I don’t know who the protagonist is, especially the brother who you can’t understand. Such an important protagonist only appeared at the last second.

The third season is basically centered on the younger sister played by Ko Min-shi. To be honest, she always looks serious, but I really don’t know what she is doing. The motivations of her behavior are very confusing.

The director and screenwriter seem to have a special ability, which is that they know what the audience wants to see, but they just don't shoot it.

In fact, what the audience wants to know is what happened to the brother who only appeared at the last second of the second season?

You can't imagine, waiting for three episodes without saying anything.

The audience wants to know, you have been working on this for two seasons, you should have grown up, do you have any special tricks?

No.

The ultimate move is to let the big boss defeat himself and destroy himself.

Then, the two male protagonists from the first season were there talking.

3

Why is the script so bad?

The reason I thought carefully for two days before writing this complaint is that I was thinking, it is the same director, the same group of people, and the same series, so why can it be filmed so badly?

It took an American TV series ten years to destroy the reputation of a series, but a Korean TV series did it in just four years?

In fact, it cannot be said to be ruined. It can only be said that after ten years of filming,The Walking Dead”, finally draining the screenwriter’s creativity.

However, I really didn’t expect that the flowering period of Sweet Home would be so short.

This is mainly due to the screenwriter.

The first season was created by two authors working together to create the comics, and then three screenwriters adapted it, creating the high-quality script of "Sweet Home".

I have read the original novel, and there are a lot of monsters in it, but the screenwriter has reduced it to suit the audience's acceptance of the TV series, which is very good.

This is the biggest problem.

There were no professional screenwriters for the filming of the second and third seasons.

In fact, I don’t know why they didn’t continue to invite the original screenwriter, but instead the original author of the comic did it himself.

In the absence of original works for the second and third seasons, the two original authors may have felt that they could do it and then went for it.

As you can see, the result is actually just like the first season of the comics, with many characters appearing.

The cartoonist doesn't know how to delete, he only knows how to add. He thinks the more characters the better, which will inevitably blind the audience's eyes.

Unfortunately, the audience didn't buy it.

Therefore, in the future, we should respect the screenwriters and hire a professional one, as different professions are like different worlds.

Not every comic author is a natural screenwriter, Jiang Cao is one of them!

Finally, I want to say that the most sigh-worthy thing about the third episode of "Sweet Home" is that every actor's acting skills have improved, and everyone is working very hard. It is really a pity that there are good actors but no good script.

Therefore, the watchability of "Sweet Home" stops at the first season. If you haven't watched the last two seasons, don't try again. Your time is also time.
