Reporters learned from the conference that the China Digital Entertainment Conference will be permanently settled in Tianhe District, and this year's conference will open at the Guangzhou Library on August 2. The four-day conference will present a national digital entertainment feast focusing on cutting-edge hot topics such as digital economy, entertainment industry, science and technology culture.

The conference is hosted by the China Culture and Entertainment Industry Association and the People's Government of Tianhe District, Guangzhou. It will be themed "Innovative Digital Entertainment Navigation" and focus on the industry development trend topic of "Future Technological Trends and Innovative Application Scenarios for Digital Entertainment" and set up "one conference and one exhibition".

The “one conference” refers to the opening ceremony of the conference, which includes keynote speeches by leading companies, cooperation agreements, the establishment of the digital entertainment industry alliance, and the promotion of the business environment. The “one exhibition” refers to the digital entertainment technology and application exhibition, which includes a global cutting-edge technology area, an enterprise overseas display area, and an immersive interactive experience area.

The Digital Entertainment Technology and Application Exhibition includes a main exhibition area and five sub-venues in the park. The main exhibition area specially plans three exhibition areas: the global cutting-edge technology area, the enterprise overseas exhibition area, and the immersive interactive experience area. Wang Hongpeng, president of the Digital Entertainment Branch of the China Cultural and Entertainment Industry Association and general manager of Universal Digital, introduced that the immersive interactive experience exhibition area of ​​the Digital Entertainment Technology and Application Exhibition will present a lot of eye-catching cultural and technological integration content. Guests can participate in the knowledge quiz to ask Einstein's virtual person to answer 10,000 whys, let Van Gogh's virtual person draw a picture based on the interaction with the audience, let Li Bai's virtual person write a poem based on the interaction with the audience, and experience the VR riding flying motorcycle project Time and Space Magic Box. As a cultural industry center in Guangzhou, Tianhe District has actively responded to the national cultural digitalization strategy in recent years and is committed to building a digital entertainment city name card. According to statistics, in 2023, the number of cultural enterprises above designated size in Tianhe District accounted for 28.5% of the city's total, and the operating income of cultural industries above designated size accounted for 40.12% of the city's total. The holding of this conference will further promote the development of new digital entertainment formats in Tianhe District and even the entire Greater Bay Area, and build an important fulcrum for the national cultural digitalization strategy.
