Located in Beijing, the house is not big, a small apartment of 55 square meters, delivered with fine decoration, but the owner hopes to make the home function more perfect while retaining the hard decoration. So some renovations were carried out to improve the function and make the storage space more reasonable. The whole house is built in Nordic style, creating an unrestrained, clean and warm comfortable living atmosphere.

Floor Plan

The original floor plan shows a square layout with basically no wasted space. It has three bedrooms and two living rooms, making it suitable for a family of three.

The renovation basically retains the original layout, and without touching the walls and floors, it realizes more functions and makes each space more convenient and practical.

Entrance

The entrance hall retains the customized shoe cabinet of the fine-decorated house. The renovation improves the function of the entrance hall. A mirror design is added to the hollowed-out part in the middle of the shoe cabinet to facilitate dressing before going out. The design of the shoe cabinet is quite good. It goes straight to the top without wasting space. The bottom is hollowed out to facilitate the placement of changed shoes and keep the entrance hall clean.

living room

The living room is clean and simple, with white as the main color to brighten the space, thus dispelling the compactness of the small apartment. Without affecting the scale of the space, the living room has appropriately increased the storage space, customized low cabinets and booth cabinets, and a combination of closed and open types to make storage easier.

The living room and dining room are combined to make the space look larger, and dining and gatherings are more fun. The overall warm and quiet light-colored space, combined with the use of original wood-colored materials, makes the space more warm. The local retro green embellishment increases the casualness of spatial interaction.

The coffee table-free design optimizes the living room's movement lines, leaving enough space for children to play. The living room has no TV and uses a projection instead, which brings a lot of interactivity to the living room and is flexible to use.

Dining room

The layout of the living room and dining room is connected, making the space more transparent and smooth. The white color is used as the base color, and the retro green is used to create a sense of luxury. The round table design saves space and meets daily dining needs.

The restaurant has a ceiling-high sideboard to make up for the lack of storage space in the restaurant. The sideboard adopts an upper-middle-lower design, and a track socket is added in the middle part, which is very convenient for daily charging or use of small household appliances.

Reasonable space planning not only provides an independent shower space, but also allows the washing machine and dryer to be placed smoothly. The shower curtain design replaces the physical partition design, providing a more flexible and spacious space experience.

The corridor design is diversified in color, with upper and lower color separation, which makes the space more layered. The arched door design in the middle raises the visual space and reduces the sense of oppression of the visual height.

The master bedroom has limited space, so the furniture is placed in the space as much as possible, leaving only one side of the aisle. The Bracken Brown headboard background design creates a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

The independent study room creates a quiet office space for the owner.
