Xiaomi Motors said that the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Prototype was designed and developed by Xiaomi Motors. Since 2021, Xiaomi Motors has formed a team with strong technical capabilities and track experience.
At present, the core hardware and body structure of the prototype car are independently designed and developed by Xiaomi Auto. For example, the super motor V8s is completely independently developed, the track-level Xiaomi CTB battery pack is jointly developed with CATL, and it is the first time in the world to be equipped with Kirin second-generation batteries. In addition, the vehicle thermal management system, electric drive controller, battery control strategy, etc. are also independently designed and developed by Xiaomi Auto.
After the vehicle design was completed, Xiaomi Auto also invited the world's top technical consulting team to provide advice and support on track capabilities in preparation for challenging the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Prototype will officially challenge the Nürburgring in October, hoping that through continuous experience in the harsh environment of the track, more leading technologies will be applied to mass-produced cars in the future.
