Hunter Biden's daughter Naomi Biden shared a statement from Hunter on social media: "In my lifetime, I have witnessed him bear the pain of countless ordinary Americans and give them his private phone number (the suffering people) because he wanted them to call him when they felt hurt."

Hunter Biden said this unconditional love has been like a North Star for him as president and as a parent.

CNN reported that Hunter Biden, who has been battling drug addiction and has a close relationship with his father, also called on all Americans to thank Biden for his service.

Hunter Biden, 54, is the second son of the 46th U.S. President Joe Biden. Earlier, on June 11, a 12-member jury in Delaware found Hunter Biden guilty of all three charges for concealing his drug use when buying a gun in 2018 and illegally possessing a gun as a drug addict. This is the first time that the children of a sitting U.S. president have been found guilty.

After the jury's verdict was announced, U.S. President Biden said he would accept the outcome of the case and "will continue to respect the judicial process as Hunter considers an appeal." Biden said in a recent interview that if his son is found guilty, he will not pardon him.
