Recently, the Production Line Brain Artificial Intelligence Joint R&D Center (hereinafter referred to as the Joint R&D Center) was established in Chongqing Liangjiang New District. The center will focus on high-end equipment manufacturing and equip the Sichuan-Chongqing region with an "AI smart brain" for the development of the digital economy and new industrialization.

It is reported that the joint R&D center was jointly built by Wuhan University of Technology Chongqing Research Institute and Hengyuan Technology to carry out industry-university-research cooperation, transformation of scientific and technological achievements, innovation and entrepreneurship, and technology incubation, empowering the development of the digital economy in the Sichuan-Chongqing region and promoting artificial intelligence to empower new industrialization.

The joint R&D center will introduce Hengyuan Technology's "production line brain" platform. By integrating technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence, and digital twin/physical information system CPS, it will explore flexible business deployment from "process instruction issuance" to "overall production line scheduling" to "intelligent unit execution", and explore driving data intelligence upward, provide artificial intelligence application scenarios for the core processes of the equipment manufacturing industry, and fully empower the overall construction of smart manufacturing digital factories.

Ma Qianjun, executive director of Wuhan University of Technology Chongqing Research Institute, said that the institute will work with enterprises to build an innovation platform that integrates research and development, results transformation, and talent training to fully empower the digital transformation of equipment manufacturing companies.

Zhang Yongwen, founder and chairman of Hengyuan Technology, said that the company and Chongqing Research Institute of Wuhan University of Technology will promote resource sharing, jointly utilize their own experimental equipment, technical platforms and intellectual property rights, and jointly carry out national, provincial, municipal and industry research and development projects. At the same time, the two sides will also share research and development results and related intellectual property rights, and carry out results transformation and industrial incubation.
