China News Service, July 19: The three major U.S. stock indexes all closed lower, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 1.29%, the S&P 500 down 0.78%, and the Nasdaq down 0.7%. JPMorgan Chase fell 3.2%, and Goldman Sachs fell 3.14%, leading the decline in the Dow. The Wind U.S. TAMAMA Technology Index fell 0.4%, Amazon fell 2.22%, and Tesla rose 0.29%. Chinese stocks generally fell, with Bit Digital down 9.83% and BitDeer down 8.62%.

As of the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1.29% to 40,665.02 points, the S&P 500 fell 0.78% to 5,544.59 points, and the Nasdaq fell 0.7% to 17,871.22 points.

Most technology stocks fell, with Apple down 2.03%, Amazon down 2.22%, Netflix down 0.68%, Google down 1.84%, Facebook up 3%, and Microsoft down 0.71%.

Bank stocks fell across the board, with JPMorgan Chase down 3.2%, Goldman Sachs down 3.14%, Citigroup down 4.01%, Morgan Stanley down 2%, Bank of America down 2.25% and Wells Fargo down 2.74%.

Most energy stocks rose, with Exxon Mobil up 0.96%, Chevron up 0.47%, ConocoPhillips up 0.45%, Schlumberger down 0.37% and Occidental Petroleum up 0.9%.

Airline stocks fell collectively, with Boeing down 2.47%, American Airlines down 3.41%, Delta Air Lines down 1.86%, Southwest Airlines down 3.25% and United Airlines down 1.19%.

Most chip stocks rose, with Broadcom up 2.91%, Nvidia up 2.8%, Intel up 1.2%, NXP Semiconductors up 1.08%, TSMC up 0.39%, ASML down 0.85%, Micron Technology down 1.72%, and AMD down 2.3%.

Popular Chinese concept stocks generally fell, with the Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index down 1.21%, Bit Digital down 9.83%, BitDeer down 8.62%, Ehang Intelligent down 6.92%, Melco Crown Entertainment down 6.78%, ACM Semiconductor down 5.33%, Dada Group down 5%, Lotus Technology down 4.43%, Shanda Technology down 4.41%, BOSS Direct down 4.35%, and Autohome down 4.28%; in terms of gains, Enchain Intelligent Electric rose 52.93%, Legend Biotech up 5.89%, and Zhiwen Group up 2.32%. Chinese concept auto stocks fell across the board, with NIO down 1.16%, Xpeng Motors down 2.79%, and Li Auto down 1.03%.

In addition, on July 18, international precious metal futures generally closed lower, with COMEX gold futures down 0.49% to $2,447.9 per ounce and COMEX silver futures down 1.18% to $30.02 per ounce.
