IT Home reported on July 18 that although Samsung mobile phones are mostly called "Galaxy" phones, they are currently lagging behind other manufacturers in terms of satellite connection support.

AndroidAuthority unpacked several official Samsung apps and found that Samsung is already working on introducing "satellite communication" functionality to its devices and may provide support in the next generation of models.

Compared with other manufacturers, Samsung can directly adopt Google's solution (Android15 has confirmed native support for satellite networks), so some of its apps use its own satellite support solution, while apps like "Messages" are ready to apply Google's solution.

There is currently no clear news that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series models will support two-way satellite communication functions, but Google is expected to reveal the answer when Android 15 is officially released in a few weeks. IT Home will bring you more related reports in the future.
