The image transmission is developed based on software-defined radio technology and adopts SDR and Wi-Fi dual-standard image transmission technology.

Among them, SDR technology brings the stability and penetration of ground image transmission to a new dimension; in addition, DJI SDR image transmission also supports image transmission via Wi-Fi, providing the team with a more flexible monitoring method.

Relying on SDR technology, DJI SDR image transmission can also ensure stable transmission and monitoring of images in various complex shooting environments. Its super strong penetration allows it to easily cope with indoor shooting needs such as penetrating walls, maintaining stable and reliable transmission quality.

When the channel is interfered with, DJI SDR image transmission will automatically hop between the three frequency bands of 2.4 GHz/5.8 GHz/DFS and switch to the optimal channel to ensure on-site monitoring needs.

DJI SDR image transmission has a maximum transmission distance of 3 kilometers, which is suitable for large-scale mobile shooting scenes. It supports 1080p/60fps transmission specifications, a transmission bit rate of up to 20Mbps, and a delay as low as 35 milliseconds, bringing a high-quality and smooth monitoring experience to the shooting team.

When used with DJI RS series stabilizers, DJI SDR image transmission supports virtual body sensing, virtual joystick, and gimbal return to center functions. When used independently, it can also support PTP control of the camera, display and set the aperture, shutter, ISO, and trigger the camera's photo and recording functions through the App. In addition, it also supports CEC control of Sony cameras to realize the virtual menu function.
