Recently, the Guinness World Records officially announced that 24-year-old Nigerian player Oside Oluwole broke the world record for continuous gaming marathon by playing games for 75 consecutive hours. The previous longest record was 50 hours set by David Whitefoot in 2022.

Oluwole started the challenge with the mobile game "Dream League Soccer 2023" on October 26, 2023. He played the game by connecting to a TV and took a 5-minute break every hour. During this period, he completed more than 500 games and finally achieved this amazing achievement in over 75 hours.

It is reported that the purpose of this challenge is to raise donations for local hospitals. Oluwole also said that he will continue to challenge other world records of football games including console platforms such as "FIFA" and "Pro Evolution Soccer".
