IT Home reported on July 16 that Audi plans to release the new generation of Audi A5 series cars on July 16.Before the official release, some media have already exposed the official promotional pictures of this model.

IT Home previously reported that Audi has adjusted its future product release route. Audi has now assigned odd-numbered sequences to fuel vehicles and even-numbered sequences to electric vehicles. Therefore, the new generation Audi A5 is actually the replacement model for the fuel version of the Audi A4.

The new Audi A5 will no longer be available in the A5 Coupe and A5 Cabriolet, but will instead be available in the five-door Sportback and A5 Avant wagon.

The new Audi A5 is larger than the old model, 13 mm wider, 24 mm taller and 67 mm wider, but perhaps most comforting to passengers is the 79 mm increase in interior width, which greatly improves space for rear passengers.

The new Audi A5 mainly uses an all-new platform called the Premium Combustion Platform (PPC), and is also equipped with the same "Digital Stage" infotainment system as the Q6 e-tron, which has a pair of OLED screens (one for the main instrument display and the other for the infotainment display) and an optional third screen for the front passenger (the third screen cannot be seen from the driver's seat because it would reduce the film).

The new A5 also offers intelligent lighting technology that works equally well for both exterior and gender, as well as a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems and a head-up display for augmented reality.

In terms of power, the new A5 uses an upgraded 2.0-liter four-cylinder EA288 engine equipped with a turbocharger, with a power of 200 kW/272 horsepower and better cruising range performance.
