According to Leifeng.com, Houmo Intelligence, an innovative storage and computing integrated AI chip company, has completed a strategic financing of several hundred million yuan.

This round of financing was jointly invested in the company by China Mobile's Beijing China Mobile Digital New Economy Industry Fund and Shanghai China Mobile Digital Transformation Industry Fund (hereinafter collectively referred to as "China Mobile Industrial Chain Development Fund").

In addition to the support of industrial capital, this round of financing also injected new impetus into Houmo Intelligence's technological innovation and strategic layout.

China Mobile Research Institute and Houmo Intelligence have officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly promote the innovative development and mass production of storage and computing integrated AI chips. Houmo Intelligence has officially become a large-scale edge model chip company that is supported by China Mobile.

The two parties will jointly explore new terminal-side large-model product forms for scenarios such as government and enterprise large-model all-in-one machines, trusted AI PCs, home computing boxes, robots, industrial quality inspection terminals, and jointly promote the commercialization of the products.

At the Mobile World Congress (MWC2024) in 2024, Houmo Intelligence and China Mobile jointly demonstrated the real-time operation of a large language model with a parameter scale of over 7 billion on the edge. The test performance reached a high speed of 15-20 tokens per second, demonstrating the excellent performance of the integrated storage and computing AI chip in the edge large model computing scenario, and presenting fluent Chinese and English conversations and real-time interactions on site.

The M30 recently released by Houmo Intelligence can achieve a computing power of up to 100T with a power consumption of 12W; the next-generation chip adopts the latest "Tianxuan" architecture, and the computing efficiency will continue to increase exponentially.
