Yesterday, we reported that Disney was hacked and 1.1TB of data was leaked. Today, a netizen on Reddit shared a set of pictures that leaked information about "Alien: Fireteam 2".

The screenshots show that Alien: Fireteam 2 is codenamed Project Macondo and is expected to be released in the third quarter of 2025 on PS, Xbox and PC platforms. The document also shows the length of the game, which is about 8 hours for the main story and about 12 hours with side content. However, considering that there is still a year before the release date, it is not certain whether there will be more content in the future.

Not only that, as the sequel to "Alien: Fireteam", this game has added a new game mode "Annihilation", and its gameplay is similar to the "Horde" mode (tower defense mode) in Fortnite.

In addition, unlike its predecessor which had a rich face-shaping system, "Alien: Fireteam 2" has preset characters, each with its own iconic weapons and unique abilities, such as the Swift, a full-time "giant killer", and the melee character "Ninja" who uses a flying axe.

The screenshots also mention that the game will not have any in-game voice functionality, and that microtransactions, loot boxes, or other pay-to-win mechanics are listed as "not currently planned."

After seeing the screenshots, fans on Reddit said that the quality of this game seems to have declined significantly compared to its predecessor, especially since there are only preset characters.

"One thing I really like about Alien: Fireteam is the customizable builds. I hope they don't cancel that system."

"I'm really tired of the popularity of preset characters. If they're not famous characters from movies, then there's no need. I prefer to make my own faces."
