the latest data from the china automobile dealers association shows that the average daily transaction volume of the second-hand car market in september climbed to 63,500 units, an increase of 7% from the same period in august, with many sales coming from "foreign buyers."
from january to august this year, the transaction volume of second-hand cars in guangdong was 1.88 million, exceeding the retail sales of new cars for two consecutive months. among them, the export volume and value of second-hand cars increased significantly. in the largest second-hand car trading market in guangzhou, foreign businessmen come here almost every day to purchase. they are very fond of chinese cars, especially new energy vehicles.

affected by the price reduction of new cars this year and the sufficient supply of second-hand cars, the price of second-hand cars continues to fall. data from the guangdong automobile circulation association shows that the average transaction price of second-hand cars in guangdong from january to august this year was 66,000 yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 3.5%, and the price was even higher. advantageous overseas markets have become a new blue ocean, attracting second-hand car dealers to accelerate their layout.
in march this year, the state fully liberalized the registration application of second-hand car export companies, and guangdong's second-hand car exports ushered in a spurt of development, from 21 export companies at the beginning of the year to more than 150 currently.
according to statistics, in the first eight months of this year, guangzhou nansha automobile port exported a total of 7,447 used cars, a year-on-year increase of 213%, with an export value of approximately rmb 925 million.
