clubs can also replace players within set limits during the limited-season period from june 27 to july 3.

2025 club world cupit will be held from june 15th to july 13th, 2025. 32 teams will compete for the championship, and metlife stadium in new jersey will host the finals.

the new club world cup divides 32 teams into 8 groups, each group competes in a single round-robin competition, and the top 2 teams advance to the top 16. if it advances to the finals, a team will play up to 7 games, and there will be no 3 or 4 finals.
