last year, motorola released its first thinkphone for business consumers, and now it has launched its successor model, thinkphone 25. the new phone retains a similar aesthetic and enterprise-focused design, but its spec sheet is very similar to the motorola edge 50 neo.
thinkphone 25 offers deep integration with lenovo pcs and motorola tablets, including automatic synchronization, shared keyboard and mouse, centralized notifications, and the ability to use the phone's main camera as a webcam. motorola will provide b2b customers with moto device manager, providing remote device management for it departments.
motorola has also committed to providing 5 years of android operating system updates and security maintenance versions by 2029. enterprise features also include malware and phishing detection and additional wi-fi security features.
the thinkphone 25 only comes in carbon black, with an aramid fiber back, plastic bezel, ip-68 rating, and mil-std 810h certification.
it uses a 6.36-inch poled display with a resolution of 1220p, a refresh rate of 120hz, and the screen is covered with gorilla 7i glass. it is powered by mediatek dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with 8gb of ram and 256gb of storage.
there are three cameras on the back of the fuselage, one of which is a 50-megapixel main camera using a sony lytia 700c sensor with ois function. there is also a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto module and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. the battery capacity is 4310 mah and supports 68w wired charging and 15w wireless charging.
the thinkphone 25 retails for €499/£450, will be available in november.
