abu, who was born in 1997, is from kano, nigeria. after graduating from bayero university, he chose to continue his studies in china and studied for a master's degree in food processing and safety at zhejiang ocean university.

during china’s national day holiday, playing table tennis became abu’s first choice for the holiday.
"my grandfather also likes to play table tennis, and he taught me my skills." abu said in an interview that table tennis is a popular sport in nigeria.
