israeli prime minister netanyahu released a three-minute english video on september 30, saying that it was his "direct speech" to the iranian people. "there is no place in the middle east that israel cannot touch," he said in the video. he accused the iranian government of "plunging the middle east into war at the expense of its own people" and "is bringing the iranians closer to the abyss step by step."

netanyahu said that when iran is "finally free", iran and israel will achieve peace, and that this moment will come "much sooner than people think."
