wang linjie introduced that at the recently held third meeting of the asia-pacific economic cooperation business advisory council (abac) in 2024, representatives of the chinese and american business communities jointly proposed a proposal to promote the meeting to adopt the asia-pacific supply chain cooperation principles, emphasizing the persistence of open cooperation and non-discrimination in the supply chain. supply chain policies should abide by wto rules and avoid distorting trade and investment. specific demands against "decoupling and breaking chains" were included in the report to apec leaders. this fully reflects the voice of the asia-pacific business community, including chinese and american business enterprises.
