public information shows that "zhenguan" was established in january 2016. it has published more than 1,000 articles and has been read more than 100 million times on various platforms. it has been updated simultaneously on multiple internet content platforms such as wechat public accounts, weibo, and zhihu. it has a certain influence in shaanxi and even the whole country. in august this year, the wechat public account "zhenguan" published an article "a girl from out of town died in my rented apartment" and caused heated discussions. however, the authenticity of the description of the woman in the article was questioned. on august 18, "zhenguan" deleted the article. afterwards, the public account issued an "article processing instructions" stating that "a girl from out of town died in my rented apartment" was a true incident and a special and incidental case. in order to protect the parties involved and avoid distorted interpretations and excessive speculation caused by the incident, the article has been deleted. later, according to multiple media reports, many details of this article were controversial. for example, the family members did not "throw away his ashes like garbage" (the real situation is: the ashes were scattered into the river according to local customs).
at the beginning of september, the wechat public account "zhenguan" was blocked, with a notice saying, "after receiving relevant complaints and violating the "internet user public account information service management regulations", all content has been blocked, and the account has been stopped."
on the 28th, upstream news reporters discovered that the "zhenguan" public account could no longer be searched. although the original account could still be opened, when clicking on the link, it prompted "the account has been blocked and the content cannot be viewed." in addition, on weibo, the account of "zhenguan club" was also banned, with the message "this account has been complained of violating laws and regulations and the relevant provisions of the "weibo community convention" and is now unavailable for viewing."
