on the morning of september 27, a beijing daily reporter learned from a press conference held by the china railway beijing bureau that the railway station located on the beijing-tianjin intercity railwayyizhuang railway station will be put into trial operation on september 29th and 30th, and will be officially opened for operation on october 1st.
yizhuang station is adjacent to the beijing economic and technological development zone and on the beijing-tianjin intercity railway.located between beijing south railway station and wuqing railway station,it is 22 kilometers away from beijing south railway station and 62 kilometers away from wuqing railway station.after the opening of yizhuang station, the fastest time to reach beijing south railway station is 10 minutes, and the fastest time to reach tianjin station is 25 minutes.on the first day of trial operation on september 29, high-speed rail trains will stop3 pairs,high-speed trains will stop every day6 pairs.
after the opening of yizhuang station,there are 7 high-speed rail stations in operation between beijing and tianjin.they are beijing south, yizhuang, wuqing, tianjin, junliangcheng north, tanggu and binhai. taking the opening of yizhuang station as an opportunity, the national railway beijing bureau has simultaneously expanded the beijing-tianjin intercity high-speed rail transportation capacity, strengthened emu reconnection tests, upgraded power supply equipment, and improved the beijing-tianjin intercity capacity expansion.
it is understood that the beijing-tianjin intercity line has implemented a new train schedule starting from september 24. this is the largest reconnection operation of emus on the beijing-tianjin intercity line in the past years. at present, the round-trip transportation capacity has been increased by 19,000 sheets across the entire line.luck can be increased by 11.3% throughout the day.the travel capacity of passengers between beijing and tianjin during the national day holiday has been improved.
