recently, netizen mr. wang reported to a red star news reporter that when his family member wang was driving and turning in the community, an unleashed corgi passed through the middle of the road. the family member stopped the car in time and got out, but was verbally abused and slapped by the dog's owner.

mr. wang said that he later learned that the owner of the dog that hit people was a public official in a local unit.

according to mr. wang, the accident happened at around 10 p.m. on august 23. wang was driving normally in a residential area in quanshan district, xuzhou city, jiangsu province. when passing a 90-degree bend, he saw a man and a woman walking with two unleashed corgi dogs. wang saw one of the dogs blocking the road and stopped the car in time.

after the vehicle stopped, the male dog owner slapped the hood of wang's vehicle, saying that the vehicle was going too fast and he did not brake. wang got out of the driver's seat to argue with him. the female dog owner next to him approached him several times and verbally insulted him. she then pushed him from the driver's door to the rear of the vehicle and slapped him in the face. wang did not have any physical contact with the above two people.

mr. wang said that wang chose to call the police afterwards. a notice of administrative case filing provided by mr. wang showed that the police had filed a case for the beating reported by wang on august 23, 2024.

according to community surveillance, at 21:51 on the evening of august 23, the two dog owners and two unleashed corgis were walking on the road inside the community. one of the corgis was in the middle of the road. wang turned his car into the road and had an argument with the two. another community surveillance showed that the female dog owner physically pushed and slapped wang, who then fell to the ground.

in addition, mr. wang also said that he accidentally learned afterwards that the person who beat people was a public official of the local agricultural law enforcement brigade. he had not shown up since the incident and had not apologized. "we do not agree to mediation. we will sue after the police station has handled the case."

on september 26, a red star news reporter contacted the workplace of the woman who beat up others. the relevant person in charge stated that the attacker was indeed a staff member of the unit, and that an explanation was given to the unit after the incident. the unit has already persuaded and educated the attacker.

"when she was walking her dog, the other car was driving quite fast. there may have been some dispute because of this, and there was some pushing and verbal abuse during the process. she may have raised her hand and slapped the other person." the person in charge said that the local police station is currently handling the incident, including an injury assessment of the victim, wang moumou, and the results showed that it did not constitute a minor injury.
