according to morgan stanley's analysis, as of september 24,the average delivery time for iphone 16 in the united states is only 15.2 days, a significant decrease from 25.7 days for iphone 15 and 18 days for iphone 14 in the same period last year.

in the international market, the average delivery time of iphone 16 also showed a downward trend, at 16.3 days, lower than the 28.5 days of iphone 15.

morgan stanley said: "when we aggregate all iphone delivery time data, the average delivery time for iphone 16 from pre-order to today is 14 days, the shortest of all cycles in the past five years."

the delivery time of iphone 16 pro and pro max is also shorter than that of previous generations. in the united states, the delivery time of iphone 16 pro max is 25.5 days, which is 18 days shorter than iphone 15 pro max; the delivery time of iphone 16 pro is 18.5 days.

the report also noted that early iphone 16 buyers appear to be buying to replace older models or are attracted by the improved battery life and photography systems of the new models, and so far they are not buying because of apple intelligence.
