zhang yue, 34, is from tianjin locomotive depot of china railway beijing bureau group co., ltd. he is currently a train driver of the locomotive department of the jakarta-bandung high-speed railway operation and maintenance consortium. in february 2023, zhang yue came to indonesia from china to personally participate in and witness the important links of the joint commissioning, operation and talent training of the jakarta-bandung high-speed railway, a flagship project of the china-indonesia "belt and road" initiative.
when working in china, zhang yue studied and trained on the beijing-tianjin intercity railway, china's first high-speed railway with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. now, he is driving a chinese-made emu on the jakarta-bandung high-speed railway.
