on september 23, the "baidu smart cloud (guangnan) digital economy industrial base" jointly built by baidu smart cloud and jiangsu ruiwo construction group co., ltd. was unveiled and put into operation in guangnan county, wenshan zhuang and miao autonomous prefecture. it is committed to building baidu's first comprehensive digital economy industrial park in yunnan province that integrates annotation, metaverse, digital human, and intelligent computing center. it indicates that guangnan county has seized the opportunities for the development of the digital economy, opened up a "new track", started a "new engine", and injected "new hope", injecting new and strong impetus into the development of the digital economy in wenshan and even the entire yunnan province.
at the event, guangnan xingheng digital economy industry investment company and baidu cloud signed the "baidu intelligent cloud digital economy industry base brand authorization agreement". the two parties deepened cooperation and jointly promoted the innovation and application of artificial intelligence technology. they will take the completion of "baidu intelligent cloud (guangnan) digital economy industry base" as an opportunity to accelerate the construction of the digital economy ecosystem, create a digital economy highland, insist on digital economy to empower industrial development, and attract and cultivate a group of high-quality digital economy service providers.

it is understood that the baidu smart cloud digital economy industrial base project is divided into two phases. the total investment of the first phase is expected to be 450 million yuan, and three sections will be built: the annotation base, the metaverse base, and the digital human live broadcast base. at present, the construction of the annotation base has been completed. the total investment of the second phase is expected to be 370 million yuan, and the expansion of the data annotation base and the intelligent computing center will be built. by the end of 2025, a digital economy employment base with more than 1,500 people will be built, and no less than 15 ai data service companies such as digital human live broadcast, metaverse, and intelligent computing center will be introduced or cultivated in three years, and 6 above-scale enterprises are expected to achieve an output value of more than 200 million yuan. the new driver of the digital economy will empower the six key practice areas of "stable agriculture, strong industry, active culture and tourism, beautiful ecology, prosperous talents, and rule of law in the county" to improve quality and efficiency, and create a new highland for yunnan's digital economy.
