it is understood that zhijie is jointly created by huawei and chery. zhijie r7 is the first coupe suv of hongmeng zhixing, positioned as a medium-to-large suv, a pure electric model, and equipped with huawei's ads intelligent driving system. zhijie r7 pro is equipped with huawei ads basic version and is priced at 259,800 yuan; zhijie r7 max and zhijie r7 ultra are equipped with huawei ads 3.0 advanced intelligent driving, priced from 299,800 yuan and 339,800 yuan respectively. hongmeng zhixing promised that the zhijie r7 exhibition car has entered more than 200 stores across the country and will start mass delivery in mid-october 2024.
yu chengdong said at the press conference that huawei would lose 30,000 yuan for each zhijie r7 sold. he said that the zhijie r7 had received more than 30,000 pre-orders in less than two weeks.
zhijie is a joint car brand between huawei hongmeng zhixing and chery automobile. the first model, zhijie s7, was officially launched in november last year. in august this year, the sales volume was only 1,426 units.
this is not the first time that yu chengdong has mentioned that selling cars is a loss. just a month ago, when yu chengdong announced the price of the new m7 pro at the huawei hongmeng intelligent driving new product launch conference, he also mentioned that "selling one car will lose more than 20,000 yuan."
in june this year, yu chengdong revealed at the 2024 china automobile blue book forum that hongmeng zhixing's models below 300,000 yuan are basically losing money, but high-end products account for more than 80%, and the average sales price in the first half of the year was close to 400,000 yuan.
