bally presents the 2025 spring/summer collection "counterpoint 3". the new work was conceived by bally creative director simone bellotti and unveiled in the 16th-century cloister of the chiostro di san simpliciano in milan, tracing the origins of the dadaist art movement in zurich in the 20th century. emotional attitudes and character images form a fun collage, revisiting bally's classic heritage in a free and unrestrained style. nature and man-made dialogue, history and modernity collide with each other, symbolic symbols in collective consciousness are deconstructed and reorganized, and artistic trends are also bursting at this moment. pioneer actions and avant-garde ideas subvert red tape, allowing creations to show exquisite essence and hidden desires.

poet hugo ball once wore gowns in cocoon-shaped concave steel, giving low-cut silhouettes an operatic touch. this season, his absurd and rebellious attitude is inspired by petal-like ruffles, rounded sleeves and pleated draped taffeta or transparent silk. sculptural tailoring uses summer twill fabrics and fine bally leathers to outline the waist or fall to the knee, showing clean and simple lines. bright technical outerwear combines protection with comfortable tailoring, pleated bell skirts and tulle dresses resemble spring mountain flowers, and cashmere sweaters and wattle back tops are printed with faded roses. the new pieces question the dress code with dadaism, and use layering effects to cleverly reshape classic archetypes.

bally’s spring/summer 2025 collection also features a number of new footwear pieces, reinterpreting the brand’s classics with architectural and decorative aesthetics. this season’s new pieces continue the swiss craftsmanship and style characteristics: the new glendale series features a slender high heel; the scribe lace-up shoe is paired with a unique block heel; and the t-shaped lace-up platform sandal is decorated with exquisite metal trim. brogue derby shoes and hollow brogue mary jane shoes are cleverly embellished with shiny saddle studs, and open sandals are inlaid with punk-style spikes all over. the beckett shoulder bag is presented in an oversized version, which is exquisitely crafted from smooth and soft leather. the trapezoidal and shepherd’s bell-shaped doctor bags are embellished with exposed stitching details and the season’s alpine floral colors. the engraved belt buckles and handbags refer to the design of vintage hammered shoe horns, and acorns, bells and mushrooms are randomly scattered, exuding a sense of fun.
