according to taiwan media reports, on the morning of the 22nd, the kinmen county government arranged a lion dance performance at shuitou wharf and hung a red banner that read "warmly welcome the xiamen tour group to kinmen." kinmen county tourism bureau director xu jixin welcomed the delegation on behalf of kinmen county magistrate chen fuhai and expressed his hope that cross-strait interactions would be smoother, more successful, and more regular.

kinmen representative chen yuzhen said that opening up to mainland tour groups would benefit many kinmen businesses. she also called on the dpp authorities to lift the "ban on tour groups" for taiwanese people to travel to the mainland as soon as possible.

taiwanese media reported that the tour group will visit famous kinmen attractions such as shuitou settlement on the first day, and will visit ming dynasty old street and other places on the second day. it is expected to return to xiamen in the afternoon of the 23rd.
