on september 21, the fengtai district political and legal affairs committee, fengtai district public security bureau, and fengtai district federation of trade unions jointly held the first security industry competition in beijing. the fengtai district security industry coordination committee and the first batch of 11 "fengtai good people and peace volunteer security teams" were also established on the same day.
at present, there are 91 registered security companies in fengtai district, with 35,000 security guards on duty. this year, the security companies in fengtai district carried out a six-month basic skills competition within the company, and selected 104 outstanding team members to participate in the "fengtai district police-security joint emergency team" training organized by the district public security bureau.
during the performance session, security guards from the fengtai district police-security joint emergency response team demonstrated their skills in shield fighting, enemy-catching boxing, baton-shield exercises, etc. in the actual combat handling session, faced with the emergency situation of "criminals with knives", the campus security guards responded quickly, holding steel forks, shields, and long sticks, and cooperated tacitly to successfully subdue the "suspects" and take them away from the scene; in the actual combat scene of the hospital, the security guards at the hospital security checkpoint successfully controlled the "medical disturbance" with knives; in the actual combat scene of the used car market, the vehicle "caught fire", and the security personnel evacuated the on-site personnel and put out the fire in time with fire-fighting equipment.
the fengtai district security industry coordination committee was also formally established on the same day. its member units are composed of 13 district units and high-quality security service companies. it will conduct investigations and research on the development of the security industry, and put forward opinions and suggestions on strengthening the construction of the security industry; safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of security guards, and build a working platform for rational suggestions from the security industry and security practitioners; strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the security industry, learn from successful experiences, and share development results.
"fengtai good people" safety volunteers are the brand of volunteer services in fengtai district. during the event, the first batch of 11 "fengtai good people safety volunteer security teams" were awarded flags and established.
