2 adjustments to the duration of qualifying exams

according to the measures, the chinese language course will remain at 120 minutes, mathematics will be adjusted from 120 minutes to 90 minutes, foreign language will be adjusted from 120 minutes to 90 minutes, and ideology and politics, history, geography, physics, chemistry, and biology will be adjusted from 90 minutes to 60 minutes.

3 qualifying examination subjectsno change

all subjects set in the general high school curriculum are included in the high school qualification examination, and there is no change in the examination subjects.

4 qualifying exam timedetailed arrangement

the physical education and health qualification test is scheduled in the second semester of senior high school, and the art (music, fine arts) qualification test is scheduled at the end of the first semester of senior high school. the remaining 11 subject qualification tests are organized twice each school year, at the end of each semester.

the first time for students in regular high schools to take the qualification test is at the end of the second semester of the first year of high school. students can take the qualification test after completing the required courses of each subject, and they can take the test and clear the course at the same time. if they fail the test, they can take the qualification test of the same subject in the next semester. the city will not organize a separate make-up test.
