this recall was carried out under the circumstances that the state administration for market regulation initiated a defect investigation. affected by the investigation, mercedes-benz (china) automobile sales co., ltd. and beijing benz automotive co., ltd. will inspect the wheel speed sensors of vehicles within the recall scope free of charge through mercedes-benz authorized dealers. if they fall within the specific part number range, they will be replaced to eliminate safety hazards.
