the report pointed out that chinese companies have actively participated in the construction of infrastructure such as communication networks and data centers in south asia and southeast asian countries, which has greatly improved network coverage and transmission speed in the region; through technical seminars, joint r&d projects and other forms, the exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in the field of digital technology have become increasingly frequent; in addition, cooperation in digital economy fields such as e-commerce, digital payments, and smart cities is also constantly advancing, jointly opening up a broader market space.
according to reports, the international digital ecosystem index in this report covers 159 countries around the world, all of which are countries where the number of internet users accounts for more than 35% of the total population. the relevant data are collected from 24 data sources from institutions such as the oecd, the world bank, the international telecommunication union, and the european commission.
