on september 20, the 2024 yunnan top 100 non-public enterprises and private enterprise social responsibility report release conference hosted by the yunnan federation of industry and commerce was held in kunming. this is the twelfth time that our province has held the top 100 non-public enterprises release event and the first time that a private enterprise social responsibility report has been released.
at the meeting, five lists were released, including "top 100 non-public enterprises", "top 20 manufacturing enterprises", "top 20 service enterprises", "top 20 innovation capabilities" and "top 20 employment absorption", and plaques were awarded to representatives of the listed enterprises. among them, kunming wentai communications co., ltd., yunnan yuxi yukun steel group co., ltd., yunnan qujing chenggang steel (group) co., ltd. and other companies were shortlisted for the "top 100 non-public enterprises in yunnan province in 2024"; kunming wentai communications co., ltd., yunnan yuxi yukun steel group co., ltd., yunnan qujing chenggang steel (group) co., ltd. were shortlisted for the "top 20 non-public enterprises in manufacturing in yunnan province in 2024"; yixintang pharmaceutical group co., ltd., woaiwojia holding group co., ltd., huazhi liquor chain management co., ltd. and others were shortlisted for the "top 20 non-public enterprises in service industry in yunnan province in 2024"; yunnan lincang xinyuan germanium industry co., ltd., yunnan watson biotechnology co., ltd., yunnan hexu environmental technology co., ltd. and others were shortlisted for the "top 20 non-public enterprises in innovation ability in yunnan province in 2024"; yixintang pharmaceutical group co., ltd., woaiwojia holding group co., ltd., kunming wentai communications co., ltd. and others were shortlisted for the "top 20 non-public enterprises in employment in yunnan province in 2024".
in 2024, the provincial federation of industry and commerce at all levels, relevant departments and private enterprises worked together to expand the scope and improve efficiency, and promoted the province's large-scale private enterprise survey to achieve a historic breakthrough in participation and coverage. the top 100 non-public enterprises were further optimized and improved in structure and quality, and the operating income of the shortlisted enterprises continued to hit new highs. in 2024, the entry threshold for the top 100 non-public enterprises in our province increased from 509 million yuan in 2013 to 1.132 billion yuan, 2.22 times that of 2013, an increase of 36 million yuan and 3.28% over the previous year; in 2024, the total operating income of the top 100 non-public enterprises in our province increased from 234.867 billion yuan in 2013 to 495.160 billion yuan, 2.11 times that of 2013, and the average operating income per household increased by 190 million yuan and 3.97% over the previous year. overall, the growth of the top 100 non-public enterprises in 2024 will show an accelerating development trend, the operating income gap between the top 100 enterprises will further widen, and some of the top 100 non-public enterprises will increase their r&d investment and employment levels while reducing profits, reflecting their responsibility to develop new quality productive forces and actively assume social responsibilities.
at the same time, this year our province's private enterprises have made a historic breakthrough in participation coverage and the quality of application structure. the number of private enterprises included in the database has increased by 66.67% over the previous year. a number of advanced units for large-scale private enterprise research and a number of emerging and strong private enterprises have emerged, further polishing the work brand of our province's top 100 non-public enterprises release activities.
the "2024 analysis report on the top 100 non-public enterprises in yunnan province" points out that this year, the top 100 non-public enterprises in our province have seen a steady increase in operating income and a continuous increase in the entry threshold. at the same time, they have also shown characteristics such as optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure, gradual expansion of the proportion of manufacturing, continuous improvement in innovation capabilities, continuous emergence of innovative results, stable increase in employment contribution, steady and positive corporate development, continuous advancement of transformation and upgrading, solid and sound compliance systems, enhanced awareness of social responsibility, continuous improvement in the business environment, and increased sense of gain among enterprises.
the meeting also released the "yunnan private enterprise social responsibility report (2024)", which comprehensively reflects the performance of yunnan private enterprises in fulfilling their social responsibilities in 2023, aiming to encourage and guide more private enterprises to actively engage in social responsibility and contribute more to the economic and social development of yunnan. the report is based on survey data from 2,965 private enterprises in 16 prefectures, cities, 18 industries and 14 industrial fields in yunnan province. it covers eight dimensions, including healthy development responsibility, national responsibility, employee responsibility, ecological and environmental responsibility, fair operation responsibility, consumer responsibility, community responsibility and social responsibility governance. it comprehensively summarizes the remarkable achievements and main characteristics of yunnan private enterprises in fulfilling their social responsibilities in 2023, and fully demonstrates the positive actions and responsibilities of yunnan private enterprises in promoting high-quality development. at the same time, a selection of outstanding cases of social responsibility of private enterprises was carried out, and 10 outstanding entrepreneur cases were selected, including ruan hongxian, vice chairman of the provincial federation of industry and commerce, president of yunnan pharmaceutical distribution industry association, and chairman of yixintang pharmaceutical group co., ltd.; li biao, vice chairman of the provincial federation of industry and commerce, president of yunnan pharmaceutical chamber of commerce, and chairman of haobang pharmaceutical group; and liu jun, vice chairman of the provincial federation of industry and commerce, and chairman of yunnan dianxue grain and oil co., ltd.; and 50 outstanding corporate cases, including yunnan shennong agricultural industry group co., ltd., yunnan runcheng investment co., ltd., and kunming purple apple decoration engineering co., ltd.
the heads of yunnan yuxi yukun iron and steel group co., ltd. and yunnan dianxue grain and oil co., ltd. spoke as representatives of the companies.
the meeting was attended by the vice chairman (vice president) and standing committee members of the provincial federation of industry and commerce (chamber of commerce) in kunming, representatives of the top 100 non-public enterprises, and representatives of companies with outstanding social responsibility cases.
