recently, a video of a man and a woman having indecent behavior while sitting outdoors in a public place during the day has been circulated on the internet. some online reports said that the incident took place at yunnan honghe university or a wetland park near the university, and that the man and woman involved were suspected to be from the university; others said that the man and woman involved were "an instructor and a freshman."

on the afternoon of september 20, a red star news reporter called the publicity department of the party committee of honghe college. the staff member who answered the phone said: "we have already reported (the content of a video) to 12377. it has seriously misrepresented the incident. the picture sent is not the place where the incident occurred, and the incident is not this incident."

the staff member also told the red star news reporter that the online rumors about "instructors and freshmen" did not conform to the actual situation of honghe university, and the college had not yet started military training.

public information shows that 12377 is the free reporting telephone number, reporting website and reporting mailbox set up by the illegal and harmful information reporting center of the central cyberspace affairs commission (state internet information office).

previously, there were also rumors online that the aforementioned video came from zhejiang university city college. on september 19, zhejiang university city college issued a statement in response, saying that "the scene is not from our school and the characters are not our students."

on september 20, a reporter from red star news also called the propaganda department of the honghe prefecture party committee. the staff said that they were not clear about the relevant situation at the moment and would respond after verification.
