beijing news (reporter zhan shengjie) on september 20, the beijing hongqiao international pearl culture festival with the theme of "appreciating the beauty of pearls and drawing a cultural blueprint together" opened at the hongqiao market guantan observation platform. the event will last until october 10.
it is reported that this year's pearl culture festival consists of four major sections: "china international craft innovation expo tour", "beijing hongqiao international pearl culture festival opening ceremony", "'harmony and beauty' hongqiao series cultural activities", and "digital new trends·beijing hongqiao international pearl culture festival live month". the activities include 5 salons with the themes of "creative and diversified design", "industry consumption innovation", "digital finance empowers business", "traditional industry rebirth", and "green and low-carbon development", as well as 13 activities in the three series of "qiaoyunzhen fashion", "silk road bridge", and "qiaoying cultural context".
at the event, hongqiao market signed a strategic cooperation agreement with singapore university of social sciences, wuhan institute of engineering science and technology, and jiuhua lingzhu breeding base to jointly promote jewelry design, cultural and creative research and development, and talent cultivation with pearls as the core theme. this cultural festival is guided by the china jewelry and jade jewelry industry association and the beijing international design week organizing committee office, hosted by dongcheng cultural tourism group, and undertaken by hongqiao market.
