notice on the test sounding of air defense alarm in this city

in order to further enhance the citizens' national defense concept and awareness of civil defense, and to test the integrity of the city's air defense alarm facilities and the ability to sound the air defense alarm, in accordance with the "people's air defense law of the people's republic of china" and the "shanghai air defense alarm management measures", the city will conduct an air defense alarm test on september 21 this year (national defense education day). the relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. time for the test of air defense alarm

september 21 (saturday) from 11:35 am to 11:58 am.

ii. scope of the air defense alarm test

the entire city (except pudong international airport and hongqiao international airport areas).

3. forms of air defense alarm tests

from 11:35 to 11:38, a pre-alarm will be sounded for 36 seconds and then 24 seconds. this cycle will be repeated three times and last for three minutes.

from 11:45 to 11:48, the air raid alarm was tested, sounding for 6 seconds and stopping for 6 seconds, repeated 15 times as a cycle, lasting 3 minutes.

from 11:55 to 11:58, the alarm was sounded to clear the air, which lasted for 3 minutes.

while the air defense alarm was being tested, air defense alarm information was released through platforms such as the municipal early warning release center, shanghai radio and television media center, and fm105.7 shanghai traffic radio (shanghai emergency radio).

iv. organization of the test sounding of the air defense alarm

the municipal national mobilization office is responsible for organizing and implementing the test sounding of air defense alarms.

before the air defense alarm is tested, please ask all news organizations and relevant public information release carriers such as subways and buses to carry out extensive publicity. please ask all districts to organize relevant publicity and implement air defense drill plans.

during the air defense alarm test, all districts and schools of all types are requested to organize urban residents, school teachers and students to conduct air defense drills; all departments, units, citizens and passers-by are requested to actively cooperate to maintain normal work and life order.
