to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of new china, on september 20, taoranting park, together with the beijing royal garden painting and calligraphy research association, the people's daily shenzhou painting and calligraphy academy, the china huaxia cultural heritage foundation, and the academy of fine arts of beijing institute of fashion technology, held athe exhibition of guo mei's works in the prosperous era of flowers was unveiled on the first floor of the park's waterside pavilion. nearly 40 exquisite flower and bird paintings showed the innovation of traditional ink painting techniques.the works are full of vitality and overflowing with the spirit of perseverance and progress.
guo meiwei is an active flower and bird painter in the contemporary art world. his works have been selected for a series of important national exhibitions since the 1980s. his flower and bird paintings are profound in traditional meaning and full of vitality, with distinct artistic characteristics and a strong realistic style.
"this time we have selected nearly 40 ink paintings by mr. guo mei'ao. he depicts the flowers, birds, bamboo and spring scenery in the park. we hope that through this exhibition, we can bring aesthetic enjoyment to citizens and tourists, and let everyone feel the prosperity of our motherland from the pictures." said a relevant person in charge of taoranting park.
the exhibition will last until the end of october. the first floor of the waterside pavilion will be open to the public from 9:00 to 16:30 every day. citizens are welcome to visit the exhibition.
