at the east china materials yongning station, new energy mixer trucks are neatly arranged, like a beautiful "green landscape". approaching these vehicles, there is no exhaust emission and roaring noise from diesel engines, and the cab is full of a sense of technology, with obvious advantages of zero emission, low noise and easy operation.
at present, one-third of the station's mixer trucks have been replaced with new energy vehicles, which can reduce nitrogen oxide emissions by about 3.4 tons per year compared with national v diesel vehicles, based on an annual driving distance of 50,000 kilometers. like other mixing stations in nanjing, the huadong materials yongning station adopts closed-type operations and is equipped with facilities such as vehicle washing, high-pole spraying, dust and noise monitoring, and ecological environment access control to effectively prevent and control pollution.
at present, the commercial concrete industry is highly competitive, and green transformation and development is imperative. while actively responding to the policy call for continuous improvement of air quality and green transformation and development, enterprises have also given full consideration to ensuring production demand, reducing operating costs, and improving market competitiveness.
the new energy mixer trucks selected by huadong materials can run 200 kilometers after being fully charged in 40 minutes. on average, they can run four times per charge, which can meet its production needs. "in general, the use of new energy vehicles has reduced the operating cost of each cubic meter of concrete and improved our market competitiveness. at the same time, new energy mixer trucks are less noisy, which is more attractive to construction sites near residential areas," said sheng xuefei, stationmaster of huadong materials yongning station.
it is understood that although the initial purchase cost of new energy vehicles is higher than that of fuel vehicles, the operating costs such as fuel and maintenance have dropped significantly. based on an average annual mileage of 50,000 kilometers, each vehicle can reduce diesel consumption by 17 tons per year. in the context of fierce competition in the transportation industry, the competitiveness of the fleet has been qualitatively improved. with new energy mixer trucks, there must also be supporting charging and swapping facilities. zhouzhou transportation company built the nanjing tianyuan automobile superfast charging station at no. 1 puhe road, yongning street, 2 kilometers away from the east china materials yongning station.
"taking into account the driving distance, production needs, charging time and capital investment, we chose the fast charging mode in the early stage and will consider adding the battery replacement mode in the later stage," said gu yuanhua. at present, the company has 19 ultra-fast charging piles, which can serve a fleet of 50 new energy mixer trucks. the surplus electricity can also provide charging services for the new energy heavy trucks purchased by surrounding enterprises.
