"rescue teams, please note that a 'tourist' has fallen into the water 30 meters in front of the south pier of west lake. rescue teams should go to rescue immediately." with the order from yang liang, deputy captain of the yuyuantan park cruise team, the yuyuantan park water rescue drill was officially launched. two rescue speedboats quickly sailed from the east and west to the area where the "tourist" fell into the water, and the rescuers on the speedboats were ready to go.
at the same time, the dock staff quickly threw the u-shaped unmanned rescue equipment into the water and remotely controlled the rescue equipment to cooperate with the rescue. in less than two minutes, two rescue speedboats arrived at the falling area first. rescuers threw life buoys to the "tourists" and used life poles to lift the "tourists" who fell into the water.
the unmanned rescue equipment that arrived shortly after adjusted its position, and the "tourist" who fell into the water grabbed the handrails of the unmanned rescue equipment with both hands. the equipment dragged the "tourist" to the shore, and two rescue speedboats escorted him from the side and rear.
yang liang said that for this water rescue drill, the park has joined hands with various local functional departments and the hanwei emergency volunteer service team. the drill is divided into two subjects, one is to simulate the rescue of lake cruise ships in sudden severe weather, and the other is to simulate the rescue of "tourists" who accidentally fall into the water. the main purpose is to test and train the emergency response speed and handling capabilities of the rescue team to emergencies. in particular, through the innovative application scenario of "robot + garden", unmanned rescue equipment was used in the drill for the first time.
the reporter learned that the unmanned rescue equipment weighs about 26 kilograms. after being thrown into the water, the remote control distance exceeds 500 meters. it can carry a load of 120 kilograms. people who fall into the water can lie on the equipment for support, or grab it with both hands and be brought back to shore. the equipment travels in the water at a speed of 2-6 meters per second, which can improve the efficiency of rescue.

in the process of simulating the rescue of the cruise ship on the lake due to sudden severe weather, three rescue speedboats were quickly dispatched, using the boat's horn to explain the situation to the "tourists" on the boat on the lake, reminding the "tourists" that the cruise ship needed to return to the dock as soon as possible due to weather conditions. the rescue speedboat then fixed the cable in front of the cruise ship to be rescued and towed the cruise ship back to the dock smoothly. after the dock staff fixed the cruise ship, they helped the "tourists" leave the ship in order. the various links in the drill were closely connected, efficient and orderly.
"this drill is also one of the important measures taken by the park service to ensure the safety of the national day park visits. we ensure the safety of tourists on the boat through rigorous and detailed emergency plans and fast and efficient response speeds," said yang liang.
