decision on taking countermeasures against u.s. military-industrial enterprises

(promulgated by order no. 12 of the ministry of foreign affairs of the people’s republic of china on september 18, 2024,(effective from september 18, 2024)

the united states recently announced that it would sell weapons to the taiwan region of china, which seriously violated the one-china principle and the three sino-us joint communiqués, seriously interfered in china's internal affairs, and seriously damaged china's sovereignty and territorial integrity. in accordance with articles 3, 4, 6, 9 and 15 of the anti-foreign sanctions law of the people's republic of china, china has decided to take the following countermeasures against 9 companies listed in the attached "countermeasure list", including sierra nevada corporation, rocker rudder corporation, cubic corporation, s3 aerospace defense corporation, tecom corporation, text minerals corporation, flat earth management corporation, act1 federal corporation, and exovira corporation:

1. freeze movable property, immovable property and other types of property within the territory of my country;

2. organizations and individuals within the territory of my country are prohibited from engaging in transactions, cooperation and other activities with them.

this decision shall come into force on september 18, 2024.
