public information shows that du yubo was born in september 1955 in jinzhou, hebei province. he entered beijing institute of technology (now beijing institute of technology) in 1975 and stayed at the school to work after graduation. he has served as member of the standing committee of the party committee of beijing institute of technology, minister of the organization department, deputy secretary of the party committee, vice president, and executive deputy secretary of the party committee.

in 2002, du yubo was promoted to party secretary of beihang university, which was clearly at the vice-ministerial level. in december 2010, he was transferred to the position of deputy party secretary and vice minister of the ministry of education. in january 2011, he stepped down as party secretary of beihang university.

in october 2016, du yubo ceased to serve as vice minister of education and other positions. in march 2018, he was elected as a member of the standing committee of the 13th national people's congress and vice chairman of the education, science, culture and health committee of the 13th national people's congress.

after retirement, du yubo was elected president of the 7th and 8th council of the china higher education society in july 2017 and july 2022 respectively, and frequently participated in social activities.

du yubo's last public event was on august 1, when he hosted a symposium of the china higher education society. in addition, on august 6, a newspaper published an article signed by him.

public information shows that zhang guang is a male of the han nationality, born in october 1973 in yichun, heilongjiang province, a member of the communist party of china, with a postgraduate degree and a doctorate in engineering. he started working in november 2002.

zhang guang has served as secretary of the youth league committee of beijing university of aeronautics and astronautics, dean of the school of continuing education, general manager of the education group, secretary of the party committee of the asset management co., ltd., dean of the flight academy, chairman, general manager and secretary of the party committee of the asset management co., ltd., member of the school party committee, and assistant to the president.

in january 2019, zhang guang was appointed member of the standing committee of the party committee and vice president of beihang university.

zhang guang was expelled from the party and removed from office on january 19 this year, arrested on february 5, and prosecuted on may 13.
